The People Operations Coordinator supports day-to-day administrative and people-focused operations to help recruiting, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, and internal initiatives run smoothly.
Role Overview
In this hybrid position in Columbus, OH, you will coordinate core HR operations and provide administrative support to the people operations team. The role reports to the vice president of people operations and contributes to maintaining accurate records, supporting hiring and onboarding workflows, and helping employees stay informed through internal tools and communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates and hiring teams.
- Assist with new-hire onboarding by preparing orientation materials, scheduling sessions, and ensuring required documentation is completed.
- Maintain and update employee information in the HRIS, including data entry, audits, and report generation.
- Support benefits administration, including helping with enrollments, reconciliation, and communications with employees and vendors.
- Coordinate employee recognition efforts for milestones and life events, and maintain accurate records of recognition activities.
- Support maintenance of the company intranet by keeping policies, communications, and resources current and easy to find.
- Assist performance management processes by tracking deadlines and supporting leaders and employees as needed.
- Maintain organized, accurate HR-related files, documentation, and communications while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Provide administrative support for people operations, including scheduling, document preparation, and day-to-day coordination.
- Support special projects and initiatives by helping ensure deadlines are met and workstreams run smoothly.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, or an administrative role that includes people work.
- High organization and strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of an HRIS
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Collaborative, proactive approach, with interest in supporting a small, fast-paced team.
- Interest in building a career in people operations and supporting a positive, inclusive workplace.

Compensation and Work Model
The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 per year. Final compensation is determined based on training, relevant experience, and location.
Ologie operates under a hybrid working model. For this role, candidates must be based in the greater Columbus, OH area, with the option to work from home, from the office in Columbus, Ohio, or a combination.
