Human Resources Generalist

Little Leaf Farms is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join its onsite team in Manchester, TN. In this role, you will help set the tone for new-hire onboarding, support the full employee lifecycle, and ensure HR practices are handled with accuracy and discretion.

The HR Generalist will own key people operations functions, including orientation and administration of the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS). This position also requires careful handling of employment eligibility decisions informed by background check results.

What you’ll do

• Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires, supporting compliance and a positive experience.
• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including course assignments, tracking, and reporting.
• Use discretion when evaluating background check results and determining employment eligibility.
• Answer general HR inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
• Support HR processes across the employee life cycle, including recruitment coordination and employee relations assistance.
• Maintain accurate employee records and help ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Assist with communication and interpretation of HR policies and contribute to process improvements.
• Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 or more years of HR experience.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems.
• Working knowledge of HRIS systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with integrity.
