Senior Physician Recruiter

About the Role

HealthPro Talent is a boutique healthcare staffing firm focused on connecting exceptional physicians with outpatient medical practices, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), hospitals, and healthcare organizations.

In this hybrid, full-time Senior Physician Recruiter role, you will balance physician recruiting with the operational details that keep the hiring process moving smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and dedicated to delivering strong service while building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.

Responsibilities

Physician Recruitment

• Manage end-to-end recruitment from sourcing through placement
• Recruit physicians across multiple specialties
• Use creative sourcing strategies including job boards, professional networks, referrals, social media, and direct outreach
• Conduct comprehensive physician interviews to assess qualifications, career goals, and cultural fit
• Create detailed candidate presentations and submit qualified physicians to clients
• Coordinate interviews and maintain communication throughout the hiring process
• Negotiate offers and support candidates through closing
• Build and maintain physician talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs

Recruiting Operations

• Create, edit, and optimize physician job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms
• Manage job postings and ensure accuracy across all advertising channels
• Maintain and organize recruiting workflows within RecruiterFlow ATS
• Track candidate activity, submissions, interviews, placements, and recruiting metrics
• Assist with ATS administration and data integrity
• Support recruitment marketing initiatives, including social media and employer branding
• Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and operational efficiency
• Maintain recruiting documentation and ensure timely follow-up with candidates and clients
• Collaborate with leadership on recruiting strategy, sourcing initiatives, and business development efforts
• Support special recruiting and operational projects as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of physician recruiting experience
• Proven success recruiting MDs and DOs across multiple specialties
• Experience recruiting for outpatient practices, FQHCs, or healthcare organizations preferred
• Track record of managing multiple physician searches simultaneously
• Experience supporting recruiting operations, including ATS management, job posting optimization, workflow coordination, recruiting metrics, and process improvement
• Experience with RecruiterFlow or another applicant tracking system (ATS)
• Strong sourcing and passive recruitment skills
• Experience creating recruitment marketing materials and job advertisements across multiple platforms
• Excellent interviewing, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong project management skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing competing priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and recruiting technologies
