Job Description

Overall Purpose

  • Coordinate scheduling and staffing of qualified personnel to support mission success
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with hiring partners in assigned areas
  • Support and contribute to the company Quality Policies and the QMS

Reports To

Sr. Staffing Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Client relationship and business development
    • Coordinate scheduling, staffing and recruiting activities supporting containment projects and sorting operations
    • Research, develop, and sustain strong relationships with temp agencies and other recruiting sources
    • Build and manage relationships with staffing partners
    • Conduct market research on average hourly wages in target hiring areas
    • Develop applicant sources by reaching out to community services, colleges, employment agencies, and social media sites
    • Fill open positions with temporary associates and TRIGO direct hires as required
  • Operations
    • Deliver a high level of customer service
    • Assist operations with all staffing needs for missions
    • promptly fulfill requests for hourly personnel
    • Enter new hire information in the company portals
    • Train new employees during orientation on policies
    • Demonstrate commitment to reducing the risk of workplace accidents
    • Comply with local and company Health and Safety legislation, laws, and policies
  • Organization & management
    • Assist operations in ensuring staff availability and qualifications for the jobs/missions
    • Load all required new hire paperwork into the company portal
    • Assist with recruiting and staffing in other areas when necessary
    • Communicate results of recruiting events to the appropriate staff
    • Send a daily summary of staffing activity to the appropriate staff
    • Ensure timely processing of temp agency invoices
  • Technical
    • Create and/or maintain required Recruiting, Staffing and HR reports
    • Update to work and scheduling information in the company portal
  • Other
    • Any other duties as assigned

Work experience

  • 1+ years of work experience in HR/Recruiting, preferably in Manufacturing/Automotive
  • Client relationship building
  • Interviewing experience

Education background

  • 2 year degree (Marketing/Business/HR) preferred

Compensation

$17 per hour
