Responsibilities

Regulatory compliance and reporting
Manage EEO, ADA, FMLA, DOL, workers' compensation, and related duties
Training and development: assist with implementing and selecting training programs
Provide education and materials to managers and employees
Maintain employee training records
Track performance evaluations
Policy development and documentation, including the employee handbook
Enforce the Drug-Free workplace policy
Employee relations: assist with policy development regarding employee relations
Participate in investigations and assist with terminations
Advise managers on progressive discipline steps
Counsel managers and supervisors on employment issues
Compensation and benefits administration: monitor wage and salary structure
Day-to-day benefits administration services
Assist employees with various issues
Administer disability and workers' compensation claims
Review timecards daily
Track all leave, including vacation, sick, and personal days
Reconcile benefit invoices and coordinate with the accounting department
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

General knowledge of employment law and practices
Experience administering benefits and compensation programs
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
Effective oral and written communication
Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Excellent organizational skills
