Employee Relations Specialist
Job Description
Penn Highlands Healthcare is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to help cultivate a constructive employee experience at our Tyrone, Pennsylvania onsite location. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will help ensure programs comply with federal, state, and local laws while supporting HR operations across the Penn Highlands DuBois Medical Center and its affiliated sites. The role emphasizes delivering consistent, policy-driven HR services that support a positive, collaborative culture throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources to foster constructive employee relations across all staff while ensuring programs comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Support professional HR operations at Penn Highlands DuBois Medical Center and its affiliated organizations.
- Promote efficient, policy-driven HR services by applying procedures consistently across the institution and its affiliates.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
- Prior working knowledge of employment law is preferred.
- A Master's degree with a concentration in Human Resources, and/or PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification is preferred.
- Experience in employee relations is preferred.
