Director of Human Resources

Adelphi Hotel Partners offers a leadership role at a landmark boutique property in Saratoga Springs, NY. This onsite Director of Human Resources position supports a culture built on exceptional service, collaboration, and consistent people practices across the hotel environment.

In this role, you will help strengthen day-to-day employee experiences while partnering with managers on key people and compliance matters. You will oversee essential HR programs, support recruiting, onboarding, and training efforts, and contribute to strategic planning and annual budgeting through informed HR guidance.

Responsibilities

• Complete paperwork, internal documents, reports, and records with a high level of accuracy
• Develop, implement, and maintain personnel policies and procedures, including advising on opportunities for improvement
• Review and advise on organizational policies, decision-making, and strategic planning related to business administration and the annual budget
• Serve as a bridge between employees and managers by providing guidance on key topics including equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment
• Manage core human resources programs, including employee benefits, training, and company evaluation and compensation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, HR management, or a similar major
• Preferred: PHR Certification
• 3+ years in an HR Director, HR Manager, or upper-level HR role in a hotel or hospitality setting
• Proven leadership experience, including fostering employee development and teamwork across departments to support outstanding customer service
• Strong organization and interpersonal skills, with clear leadership and communication capabilities
• Service-oriented, detail-focused, and approachable with a friendly demeanor
• People-friendly mindset, organized work style, and strong decision-making and teamwork

Compensation

$95,000 - $110,000 per year.
