The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to leaders across Hospital to Home, aligning people strategies with organizational goals to support exceptional patient care. This role collaborates with managers to boost employee engagement, performance, talent development, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. The HRBP functions as both a strategic consultant and a practical resource, helping leaders build high performing teams while fostering a positive, inclusive, and values driven workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership
- Collaborate with operational leaders to understand business objectives and develop people strategies that support organizational goals.
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on employee relations, performance management, leadership development, succession planning, and organizational change.
- Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and support data-driven decision-making.
- Employee Relations
- Act as the primary HR resource for employee relations matters, conducting investigations and resolving workplace concerns in a fair, consistent, and timely manner.
- Advise managers on performance improvement, corrective action, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
- Promote a positive employee experience through proactive engagement initiatives and effective communication.
- Talent Management
- Collaborate with leaders to support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning efforts.
- Identify development opportunities and support learning initiatives that strengthen leadership capabilities and employee growth.
- Assist with succession planning and talent reviews across assigned departments.
- Performance Management
- Guide leaders through the performance management process, including goal setting, coaching, evaluations, and development planning.
- Support managers in addressing performance concerns while ensuring consistency and compliance.
- Compliance and Policy Administration
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare related workforce regulations.
- Interpret and administer HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Change Management
- Support organizational change initiatives by helping leaders navigate transitions and communicate effectively with their teams.
- Champion Hospital to Home's mission, vision, and values throughout the employee lifecycle.
- HR Operations
- Partner with HR colleagues on compensation, benefits, leave administration, employee recognition, and other HR programs.
- Participate in special projects, process improvement initiatives, and organizational development efforts.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation as required.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Five or more years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience supporting business leaders.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience supporting healthcare organizations, home health, hospice, or post-acute care environments.
- Experience with organizational development, change management, and workforce analytics.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use standard office equipment for extended periods.
- Travel to Hospital to Home locations will be required.
