Human Resources Business Partner

At Deaconess Health System, this role helps strengthen how leaders support people, develop talent, and respond to workplace needs. As a strategic Human Resources Business Partner based onsite in Princeton, IN, you will guide employee relations, coach management teams, and help shape an employee experience that aligns with organizational priorities.

What you’ll do

• Act as a resource for employee relations, including performance management, workplace investigations, and policy interpretation.
• Coach leaders on employee development, conflict resolution, and performance improvement.
• Support leadership development, onboarding, career growth, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Review workforce trends and employee feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance the employee experience.
• Partner with HR leadership and organizational leaders on workforce planning, organizational change, and employee experience.
• Help ensure consistent HR practices by recommending improvements to policies and processes.

What you bring

A strong foundation in HR and organizational development will help you contribute as a strategic partner to leaders across the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field (required).
• Three or more years of relevant HR experience (preferred).
• Experience in healthcare or a mission-driven organization (preferred).
• Experience supporting organizational change (preferred).

Certifications (preferred)

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or a similar certification.
