Senior Human Resources Partner
Job Description
The Senior Human Resources Partner serves as a strategic and operational HR partner, supporting organization-wide HR operations and employee engagement efforts. This hybrid role works closely with leaders and employees across recruitment, employee and labor relations, compliance, and employee development, with regular onsite presence and travel between company locations.
Location and Work Arrangement
- Location: Kent, WA (hybrid)
- Onsite requirement: Full-time role with a minimum of three (3) full days per week onsite (Monday to Friday)
- Remote work: May be available up to two (2) days per week depending on organizational needs
- Primary office: Flexible between Children’s Therapy Center sites in Washington
- Travel: Expected to regularly travel between Children’s Therapy Center locations in Burien, Kent, Maple Valley, and Tacoma
Pay
- Hourly rate range: USD 39 - 49 per hour
- Pay range details: $39.30 - $49.78 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Support organization-wide employee engagement initiatives, including employee advisory groups, affinity programs, wellness efforts, recognition activities, and culture-building opportunities and events
- Provide guidance to leaders on employee management, communication, accountability, and performance support
- Support employees and leaders in employee relations matters, including workplace communication, performance concerns, conflict resolution, and related documentation
- Support professional development review processes and employee feedback initiatives and surveys
- Support labor relations activities, including interpretation and administration of collective bargaining agreements, participation in labor-management processes, and partnership with organizational leadership during negotiations and implementation
- Help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including wage and hour requirements, leave administration, accommodations, and personnel documentation practices
- Assist with workplace investigations, documentation review, corrective action processes, and policy interpretation
- Support organizational compliance initiatives related to training, policy implementation, and employment practices
- Support the full recruitment cycle in partnership with the Human Resources Recruiter-Coordinator and Team, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer development, pre-employment processes, and onboarding activities
- Serve as the primary HR backup for recruitment and onboarding functions across the organization
- Partner with leaders to develop recruitment strategies that support staffing needs and equitable hiring practices
- Support onboarding and orientation to help new employees integrate into the organization
- Design, coordinate, and implement employee training and development opportunities, including individual-contributor/employee learning, leadership support, compliance education, and DEIB-focused initiatives
- Partner with leaders to identify training needs and support organizational development priorities
- Support initiatives that strengthen communication, employee development, belonging, and workplace culture across teams and sites
- Support annual compensation and benefits review processes
- Participate in market pay studies, compensation benchmarking, wage analysis, and benefits evaluations
- Support compensation recommendations and employee communications related to pay and benefits programs
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation in accordance with organizational and legal requirements
- Support HR reporting, audits, policy updates, and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate across departments to support organizational priorities and operational needs
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field (equivalent experience may be considered)
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Human Resources and/or educational experience, including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and organizational support responsibilities
- Experience supporting labor relations, collective bargaining environments, or unionized workplaces is a plus
- Experience designing or facilitating employee training and professional development programs
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience working within healthcare, nonprofit, education, or human services environments is preferred
- Strong communication skills using oral, written, visual, and/or non-verbal methods
- Effective listening skills, including the ability to recognize, comprehend, and appreciate diverse perspectives
- Organized and detail oriented, able to prioritize work to meet multiple commitments
- Ability to anticipate challenges and adjust to change as needed
- Collaborative and participatory approach, actively inviting diverse perspectives to support organizational priorities
