Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sourcing Recruiter for AWS Database & Analytics recruiting. This onsite role in Austin, Texas offers a competitive salary range of USD 72,600 to 126,100 per year. The role concentrates on building pipelines for senior and principal database engineering roles, shaping sourcing strategies, and partnering with hiring managers to translate technical requirements into effective search plans. AWS Databases tackles some of the hardest problems in distributed systems, storage engines, and open source databases at global scale. Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing plans from the ground up for senior and principal roles across database engines, distributed systems, query optimization, replication, and open source ecosystems.
• Identify candidates who are difficult to reach through deep research, creative sourcing campaigns, target company mapping, and referral strategies.
• Lead sourcing sessions with engineering teams to extract signals, cultivate referrals, and strengthen conviction around candidate profiles.
• Maintain pipeline health by keeping accurate candidate records, tracking sourcing metrics, and delivering clear market insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand deeply technical requirements and translate them into actionable search strategies.
• Raise the bar for the team by sharing best practices, providing training, and driving process improvements across the organization.

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical recruiting experience in high volume environments with rigorous hiring standards.
• Experience designing candidate sourcing and closing strategies.
• Experience recruiting mid to senior level talent.
