Job Description

As a Data Engineer II for ITA Data at Amazon, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and pipelines to support Intelligent Talent Acquisition operations. Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support a platform providing secured access to large datasets.
Architect, develop, and maintain end-to-end scalable data infrastructure and data pipelines.
Develop the team's data strategy and technical roadmap for data storage and pipeline design and implementation.
Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, scripting, and AWS big data technologies.
Design and implement complex ETL pipelines and other BI solutions.
Work closely with business owners, developers, and Business Intelligence Engineers to explore new data sources and deliver the data.
Stay current with advances in big data technologies and run pilots to design data architecture that scales with increasing data volume using AWS.

Requirements

3+ years of data engineering experience

Job Description

Supports a data driven workforce strategy by delivering insights, analytics, and forecasting while partnering with HR, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and business leadership to develop headcount projections and analyze labor and compensation trends.

Responsibilities

Design, maintain, and enhance workforce dashboards by integrating data from HR, timekeeping, and related systems.
Assist in workforce planning and forecasting with headcount projections and scenario models aligned to business and financial goals.
Collaborate with Finance, HRIS, HR, and business leaders to align workforce strategy with budgets and operational needs.
Maintain up to date knowledge of job structures and role requirements to ensure accurate modeling and analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3–5+ years of experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, compensation analysis, or a related HR/finance function.
Experience working with HRIS systems and workforce data tools.
Experience with workforce planning tools or advanced analytics platforms.
Familiarity with compensation survey data and market pricing methodologies.
Background supporting budgeting, financial planning, or headcount modeling.
Strong analytical and data modeling skills, including workforce forecasting and scenario planning.
Proficiency with reporting and dashboard tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and advanced Excel.
Experience integrating and analyzing data from multiple systems (HR, timekeeping, financial systems).
Solid understanding of compensation structures, benchmarking, and labor cost analysis.
Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for business leaders.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in compensation and employment documentation.
Knowledge of job architecture, role design, and organizational structures.
Collaborative skills with cross functional partners including HR, Finance, HRIS, and Talent Acquisition.
