Job Description
As a Data Engineer II for ITA Data at Amazon, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and pipelines to support Intelligent Talent Acquisition operations. This onsite role in Seattle, WA offers a salary range of USD 132,100 to 178,800 per year and provides the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate diverse data sources into actionable insights.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support a platform providing secured access to large datasets.
- Architect, develop, and maintain end-to-end scalable data infrastructure and data pipelines.
- Develop the team's data strategy and technical roadmap for data storage and pipeline design and implementation.
- Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, scripting, and AWS big data technologies.
- Design and implement complex ETL pipelines and other BI solutions.
- Work closely with business owners, developers, and Business Intelligence Engineers to explore new data sources and deliver the data.
- Stay current with advances in big data technologies and run pilots to design data architecture that scales with increasing data volume using AWS.
- Empower the team for self-servicing by providing the necessary skills to handle complex tasks independently.
- Ensure the team can efficiently manage and troubleshoot data-related issues, fostering autonomy and productivity.
Requirements
- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
