Driver Retention/Recruiter

Hill Transportation Inc is hiring a CDL-A Driver Recruiter to help build a strong pipeline of Flatbed and Van drivers. This onsite role in Louisville, KY supports hiring today while strengthening new-hire success through clear expectations from day one. The position offers $60,000 to $70,000 per year and includes incentives, benefits, and home time.

What you’ll do

• Recruit qualified CDL-A Flatbed and Van drivers to support ongoing hiring needs
• Build and maintain an active driver pipeline to keep positions moving
• Source candidates using Tenstreet and additional channels including job boards, social media, referrals, CDL schools, events, and direct outreach
• Reach driver leads by calling, texting, and connecting, then consistently following up to keep candidates engaged
• Screen candidates and match drivers with the right opportunity
• Explain pay packages and incentives, along with benefits, home time, equipment, and job expectations
• Guide candidates from first contact through onboarding and orientation
• Generate creative recruiting ideas to reach drivers in a competitive market
• Partner with Operations, Safety, and HR to align on hiring needs
• Support new-hire retention by setting clear and accurate expectations from the start

Required qualifications

• Previous CDL driver recruiting experience
• Strong knowledge of the trucking industry
• Proven ability to meet recruiting and hiring goals
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
• Self-motivated, competitive, creative, and results-driven approach

Preferred experience

• Flatbed and/or Van recruiting experience
• Tenstreet experience
