Job Description

Koss Industrial, Inc. is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist and Recruiter to support its Green Bay, Wisconsin team onsite. This full-time role combines full-cycle recruiting with day-to-day HR support, helping ensure hiring processes run smoothly while employees receive consistent guidance on core people operations topics.

The successful candidate will coordinate recruiting from job posting through accepted offers, while also assisting with onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, HR documentation, and compliance-related activities in a manufacturing environment.

Role Focus

  • Provide full-cycle recruiting support for assigned positions
  • Deliver day-to-day HR support across onboarding, employee relations, benefits, HR administration, compliance, and employee documentation
  • Work directly with employees and managers while managing a variety of HR responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions from job posting through accepted offer
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and position requirements
  • Create and maintain job postings to attract qualified candidates
  • Source candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, schools, workforce organizations, and community resources
  • Review applications and resumes and conduct initial phone interviews
  • Coordinate interviews and assist hiring managers throughout the selection process
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Prepare and extend employment offers and coordinate pre-employment requirements
  • Maintain recruiting records and track open positions and hiring activity
  • Develop relationships with technical schools, colleges, workforce organizations, and other recruiting partners
  • Participate in career fairs and recruiting events as needed
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Assist managers with employee relations, attendance, performance, and corrective action matters
  • Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation
  • Process employee changes and maintain accurate HRIS information
  • Support employee benefit administration and benefit-related questions
  • Assist with performance reviews, training, employee engagement, and retention efforts
  • Support employee separations and offboarding
  • Assist with leave administration and required employee documentation
  • Help ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies
  • Assist with HR projects and process improvements
  • Perform other HR responsibilities as needed

Requirements

  • Previous recruiting experience required
  • 3+ years of HR and/or recruiting experience preferred
  • Experience managing multiple positions through the full recruiting process preferred
  • Experience recruiting for manufacturing, skilled trades, technical, or engineering positions is a plus
  • General knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
  • Experience with onboarding, employee relations, benefits, HR administration, or performance management preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of assigned responsibilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn HRIS and applicant tracking systems
  • HR-related degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred
