Human Resource / Staffing Coordinator
Job Description
Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and staffing operations to support resident care at a nursing home.
Responsibilities
- Lead full cycle recruitment for clinical and non clinical roles including CNAs, LPNs, RNs, dietary staff, housekeeping, and administrative personnel.
- Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and manage onboarding processes to ensure a smooth start for new hires.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with New Jersey and federal regulations.
- Partner with department heads to assess staffing needs and align hiring activities accordingly.
- Utilize various recruitment platforms to source qualified candidates.
- Ensure the nursing department is adequately staffed with licensed personnel each day to remain compliant with state and federal requirements.
Requirements
- Healthcare recruiting or staffing experience is preferred.
- Long term care or nursing home experience strongly desired.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and healthcare compliance.
