Human Resources Coordinator
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Act as an approachable, trustworthy resource for employees across the company
- Oversee employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Assist with accurate and timely payroll processing using our payroll software
- Maintain precise payroll records and flag discrepancies for resolution
- Partner with the HR Manager to address employee concerns and workplace matters
- Document and track performance conversations, reviews, and improvement plans
- Contribute to recommendations on employee-related decisions
- Coordinate with the operations team to deliver the full onboarding experience for new hires, including paperwork, system setup, orientation, and first-day logistics
- Manage offboarding processes including exit documentation and final pay coordination
- Maintain employee files and HR records
- Help keep company policies up to date and ensure clear communication
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Participate in audits and reporting as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on professional experience
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with payroll software and HR systems is advantageous
- Discreet and trustworthy due to handling sensitive information daily
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Collaborative, personable approach with a genuine interest in supporting people
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing environment
