Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Act as an approachable, trustworthy resource for employees across the company
  • Oversee employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
  • Assist with accurate and timely payroll processing using our payroll software
  • Maintain precise payroll records and flag discrepancies for resolution
  • Partner with the HR Manager to address employee concerns and workplace matters
  • Document and track performance conversations, reviews, and improvement plans
  • Contribute to recommendations on employee-related decisions
  • Coordinate with the operations team to deliver the full onboarding experience for new hires, including paperwork, system setup, orientation, and first-day logistics
  • Manage offboarding processes including exit documentation and final pay coordination
  • Maintain employee files and HR records
  • Help keep company policies up to date and ensure clear communication
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Participate in audits and reporting as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on professional experience
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
  • Familiarity with payroll software and HR systems is advantageous
  • Discreet and trustworthy due to handling sensitive information daily
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Collaborative, personable approach with a genuine interest in supporting people
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing environment
