Job Description

The People Operations Partner provides essential support for employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, onboarding and offboarding, and internal communications across IOS offices. This is an in-person role based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with regional travel to other IOS locations.

Job Summary

Integrated Openings Solutions is a commercial and architectural openings solutions provider delivering doors and hardware products and related services to support safe, compliant, and sustainable building projects. The People Operations Partner is a key member of the People Operations team, reporting to the Director, People Operations, and collaborates with leaders and staff across the organization to support people-related initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee performance management processes including goal setting, evaluations, coaching, and development conversations
  • Guide coaching and development discussions and establish effective one-on-one meeting practices
  • Manage corrective actions and maintain documentation
  • Support leaders in addressing employee concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries in the People Operations inbox
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment practices
  • Serve as a resource for benefits questions and direct employees to benefits resources and external providers
  • Support benefits communications and employee education initiatives
  • Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve benefits issues
  • Address payroll inquiries from managers and staff; coordinate approved pay adjustments
  • Collaborate with payroll stakeholders to resolve payroll concerns promptly and accurately
  • Support onboarding to ensure a positive new hire experience and coordinate offboarding including separation documentation and communications
  • Maintain onboarding and offboarding procedures and resources
  • Support the Director, People Operations in company-wide and division communications
  • Assist with planning and execution of Company Town Halls and Division Town Halls
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and engaging organizational updates and support company-wide engagement initiatives
  • Coordinate quarterly and annual employee recognition and awards programs
  • Contribute to initiatives that strengthen culture, satisfaction, and retention
  • Support pre-close integration planning including onboarding materials, offer letters, organizational documentation, and transition readiness activities
  • Coordinate Day One and Week One onboarding activities aligned with IOS policies, benefits, systems, and culture
  • Partner with leaders to execute employee communications, change management, and workforce integration during acquisitions
  • Provide ongoing support to acquired employees and leaders to drive engagement, retention, and successful long-term integration into IOS

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with employees, managers, and external partners
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, employment policies, and workforce support programs
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High emotional intelligence, discretion, and the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization
  • Experience supporting organizational change, acquisitions, onboarding, or workforce integration initiatives preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/People Operations systems
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to other offices and acquired company locations
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
