Senior Human Resources Generalist

Haydon Holdings is expanding its on-site HR capability in Bardstown, Kentucky, with a senior role that blends partnership with managers and hands-on HR execution. This position directly supports the Director of HR and helps shape scalable people processes as the company grows, all from the heart of the operation in the Bardstown campus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees, serving as the primary backup to the Director of HR
• Lead employee relations matters, including investigations and documentation
• Oversee full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, offers, and onboarding
• Evaluate, write, and administer HR policies, ensuring consistent application and compliance
• Support benefits administration and help drive process improvements, including moving HR recordkeeping to a paperless system
• Maintain HRIS data integrity in PayCor and prepare HR reporting
• Assist with compensation reviews and annual merit planning
• Deliver training to employees and supervisors on HR policy and compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience, ideally in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site environments
• SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred
• Experience with HRIS systems; PayCor experience is a plus
• A self-starter mindset and willingness to take initiative
• Strong judgment, discretion, and adaptability in a fast-changing, growing organization
• Ability to operate as both a strategic partner and a hands-on practitioner across the full range of HR activities
