Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Sr Recruiting Business Partner to support graduate student hiring across its businesses as part of the University Talent Acquisition team. This onsite, Seattle-based role partners with leadership to shape campus recruiting strategy and advise on talent decisions. The position carries a salary range of USD 137,900 to 186,500 per year.

In this role within the University Talent Acquisition team, you will drive graduate student hiring growth across Amazon’s businesses. The Recruiting Business Partner will collaborate closely with business leaders to align campus recruiting efforts with broader objectives and talent strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Offer strategic guidance to business leaders and stakeholders as they develop and implement student hiring strategies that support the company’s long‑term growth.
  • Document recruitment plans with clear deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process.
  • Collaborate with hiring teams to design effective student sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches, balancing ROI with partner expectations.
  • Lead or participate in special projects and recruiting initiatives, including evaluating interview practices, calibrating with Hiring Managers, and crafting engagement strategies to attract top student talent.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting experience, including full lifecycle recruiting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience across other talent acquisition functions, with a focus on diversity recruiting, research, or analytics.
  • Experience building and using diverse sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research.
