Kapella Group is hiring a part-time Talent Acquisition Recruiter with a hands-on approach to sourcing, screening, and shepherding candidates from first contact through offers. This hybrid role begins at approximately 20–30 hours per week, with potential to transition to full-time based on recruiting results, company growth, and mutual fit. You will also benefit from dental, health, and vision insurance.
How you’ll make an impact
- Source talent proactively using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Zoho Recruit, referrals, industry networks, and other approved channels.
- Build targeted searches by company, position, geography, and industry background.
- Run candidate outreach and follow-up campaigns to engage both passive and active candidates.
- Prescreen candidates against defined role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
- Assess experience and alignment, including compensation expectations, availability, motivation, and location or travel requirements.
- Submit concise, qualified candidates to hiring managers for review.
- Maintain accurate ATS records in Zoho Recruit, including stages, notes, ownership, and next actions.
- Coordinate interviews and keep candidates informed throughout the process.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
- Track sourcing effectiveness and recruiting funnel performance, and recommend solutions when obstacles appear.
- Partner with the HR/TA Manager and company leadership while maintaining personal accountability for recruiting outcomes.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years of hands-on recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
- Proven success sourcing passive candidates, not only processing inbound applicants.
- Strong experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.
- ATS experience; Zoho Recruit experience is a plus.
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
- Ability to understand technical role requirements and translate them into effective search strategies.
- Strong follow-up, organization, and written communication skills.
- Comfort working in an accountable, metrics-driven environment.
- Preferred background: construction, commercial real estate, architecture/engineering, skilled trades, or related industry recruiting.
- Particularly valuable: experience recruiting for a commercial construction company.
- Consistent availability during normal business hours for interviews, coordination with hiring managers, and team meetings.
Work schedule and location

Initial onboarding is primarily in the Centennial office so you can learn roles, systems, candidate profiles, and the recruiting process. After successful onboarding, it may move to a more structured hybrid schedule. Reasonable scheduling flexibility is available for candidate calls and interviews.
Outside employment is not automatically prohibited, but it may not overlap with compensated Kapella working time or interfere with agreed hours, responsiveness, meetings, recruiting priorities, or performance expectations.
