Responsibilities
- Lead the end to end recruiting process from intake to offer and onboarding handoff, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Own and improve sourcing tools and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, the ATS, and Indeed to cultivate strong pipelines and boost candidate engagement.
- Collaborate with business leaders to create sourcing plans that supply talent to meet current needs and anticipated gaps.
- Run recruiting intake discussions with hiring managers to define role requirements, timelines, interview processes, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Publish, refresh, and manage job postings across the ATS and external channels.
- Partner with department heads to develop accurate job descriptions and maintain updates as roles evolve.
- Maintain detailed ATS records at every stage, ensuring timely candidate dispositions and clear decline communications.
- Propose recruiting metrics and continuously refine data driven approaches for hiring decisions.
- Monitor and nurture employee referrals, sustaining warm connections with referred candidates and sources.
- Schedule all interviews from initial screens to final in person sessions, including travel logistics as needed.
- Maintain consistent, transparent communication with candidates to uphold a high quality experience and Haselden’s brand.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to leverage social channels and expand the talent pool.
- Oversee the candidate assessment process, including administering pre hire assessments and relevant interview questions.
- Manage the Haselden virtual bench within the ATS, tracking industry talent movement and following up with candidates.
- Engage with department heads on networking and relationship building, including outreach events and opportunities.
- Prepare and track offer letters, coordinating with HR and hiring managers to streamline pre employment requirements.
- Advise hiring managers on recruiting strategy, market conditions, and talent availability to inform decisions.
- Coach interviewers on evaluation practices and candidate assessment techniques.
- Facilitate calibration discussions and support hiring decisions.
- Lead college and university recruiting efforts and maintain partnerships with universities to support internships and early talent programs.
- Strengthen relationships with trade schools and workforce development programs to sustain pipelines for craft, field, and hourly roles, while exploring new partnerships.
- Coordinate recruiting event collateral and branded materials for career fairs and industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting across professional, operational, field, craft/trade, hourly, and leadership roles is preferred.
- Background in high-volume hiring, hard to fill roles, and adapting to shifting business priorities is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft356 Suite
- Recruiting experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, energy, industrial, or related industries is strongly preferred.
- Proficient with ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, social media, and other sourcing channels.
- Ability to build talent pipelines and actively source passive candidates.
- Strong collaboration with hiring managers and leaders throughout the recruiting process.
- Comfortable operating in a fast paced environment and adapting quickly to change.
- Experience supporting internship, university recruiting, or workforce development programs.
- Willingness to travel for recruiting events, including Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and other locations as assigned.
