Job Description

Optimum is seeking an experienced Executive Recruiter to support the Executive Talent Acquisition team through strategic sourcing and full-life cycle executive recruiting in the telecommunications industry. The role is based onsite in Long Island City, NY and reports to the Senior Director, Executive Recruiting.

Role Overview

This position focuses on identifying executive candidates for critical enterprise roles. The Executive Recruiter will partner with hiring leaders to understand business requirements, translate them into sourcing strategies and outreach messaging, and manage recruiting activities from initial screening through coordination of interview processes.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with hiring leaders to understand business requirements and translate them into sourcing strategies and prospecting messaging
Execute sourcing plans for executive-level candidate identification and attraction
Use a variety of sourcing techniques, including online databases, professional networks, social media, and industry events, to find executive talent
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and talent pools to effectively target and engage top executive candidates
Stay current on enterprise strategic priorities and external messaging to support an accurate and effective employer value proposition
Screen and interview candidates to evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit against client requirements
Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective candidates to support trust within the executive talent community
Create talent maps and reporting to provide clients with insight into the executive talent landscape
Coordinate with the talent acquisition team and hiring managers to understand needs and align sourcing strategies
Work with the executive recruiting team and other TA resources to support candidate interview processes and offer coordination
Draft outreach messages and communications that highlight the value of executive career opportunities with clients
Develop candidate relationships, gather information to support hiring manager decisions, and help mitigate hiring risks
Collaborate with HR Business Partners on recruitment activities, including hiring plans and timing

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field
5+ years of experience in executive candidate sourcing in talent acquisition or full-life cycle executive recruiting
Strong knowledge of sourcing tools, platforms, and techniques
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to present effectively to executive leadership
Ability to evaluate cultural fit and alignment with client values and goals
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and data analytics tools
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Results-driven approach and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end recruiting across departments
Publish openings and review candidate materials
Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications
Partner with hiring managers to drive efficient, high-quality hires
Lead onboarding from offer through first-day ramp-up
Coordinate internal setup and payroll enrollment
