Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end recruiting across departments
- Publish openings and review candidate materials
- Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications
- Partner with hiring managers to drive efficient, high-quality hires
- Lead onboarding from offer through first-day ramp-up
- Coordinate internal setup and payroll enrollment
- Administer benefits enrollment and benefits administration
- Manage offboarding and terminations, including exit interviews when needed
- Address employee relations and resolve performance or disciplinary issues
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain and update the employee handbook and HR policies
- Manage ADP employee records and process payroll weekly and bi-weekly
- Oversee timekeeping systems and PTO tracking
- Ensure payroll compliance and maintain payroll records
- Prepare monthly reports on headcount, overtime, and compensation
- Administer health, dental, vision, FSA, transit, and 401(k) benefits
- Manage workers’ compensation claims and related compliance
- Serve as the primary contact for benefits-related employee questions
- Coordinate company-wide and management events; plan holiday parties
- Produce a monthly internal newsletter and support engagement initiatives
Requirements
- 7+ years of HR experience, including payroll and benefits administration
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
- Experience managing ADP and timekeeping systems
- Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-through skills
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment
