Human Resource Director

Lorien Elkridge is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead people strategy in a fast-paced healthcare setting, with a focus on culture, engagement, HR initiatives, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Support recruitment efforts using innovative sourcing and talent acquisition strategies
• Oversee employee orientation and onboarding to deliver a positive new-hire experience
• Partner with leadership to identify workforce needs and create job descriptions and employment contracts
• Administer compensation and benefits programs
• Drive succession planning to strengthen the leadership pipeline
• Promote a positive, inclusive workplace through communication and employee engagement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of HR management experience
• Employee orientation and onboarding experience
• Contract negotiation and employment agreement management experience
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Talent acquisition experience with a focus on diverse candidate pipelines
• Succession planning and leadership development experience
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting HR metrics and trends
• Strategic approach to human capital management
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
• Knowledge of payroll processes
• Strong understanding of employment and labor law, including FMLA, plus benefits administration
• Demonstrated success in talent acquisition and performance management
• Proficiency with HRIS systems
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
• Human resources management experience: 5 years (required)
• Benefits administration experience: 5 years (required)
