Human Resource Manager
Job Description
The Human Resource Manager will oversee HR operations across multiple sites in the Greater Burlington area, guiding talent acquisition, development, compliance, and organizational growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes across the organization.
- Handle employee relations, performance cycles, and retention strategies.
- Administer benefits programs, leave management, and HR policy implementation.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Manage workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and related programs.
- Advise managers on coaching, individual development plans, and performance improvement efforts.
- Coordinate training programs and leadership development opportunities.
- Maintain confidential HR information systems and personnel records.
- Cultivate a positive work culture and high levels of employee engagement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on workforce planning and organizational development efforts.
Requirements
- At least five years of progressive experience in human resources.
- Solid understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Proven track record of building relationships and collaborating with staff at all levels.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership capabilities.
- Certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR is preferred.
- Experience coordinating HR activities across multiple locations is a plus.
