Job Description

The hybrid Human Resource Specialist will oversee end-to-end onboarding, credential verification, HRIS administration, training, and cross-functional support to ensure regulatory compliance and a positive employee experience for NeurAbilities in Voorhees, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding for designated regions, including new hire documentation, scheduling, and HRIS recordkeeping
  • Coordinate background checks, license and education verifications, references, and clearances while proactively communicating compliance status to staff and managers
  • Collaborate across functions to deliver a seamless first-day experience
  • Enter onboarding data and maintain accurate employee records across HR systems
  • Perform new hire and monthly file audits to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations
  • Prepare regulatory reports as required
  • Provide training to hiring managers on onboarding procedures and compliance obligations
  • Partner with talent acquisition, operations, and payroll, handling confidential information with discretion
  • Escalate employee relations issues to leadership when appropriate
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance the employee experience and HR efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience); 4+ years in HR/talent management, or 2+ years in an HR role
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and confidentiality standards (including HIPAA)
  • Solid problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with an ethical mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with HRIS software
