Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Partner with global regional leads to guide employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns, mediating conflicts and ensuring positive resolutions.
- Promote an inclusive, supportive culture by addressing engagement and morale-building initiatives.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
- Participate in candidate selection and conduct new hire orientations to support smooth onboarding for managers.
- Help hiring managers understand and fulfill their responsibilities throughout requisitions, interviews, and onboarding.
- Support day-to-day inquiries from employees and managers.
- Coordinate and support the facilitation of the promotion review process.
- Support payroll functions and ensure accurate, timely reporting for payroll processing.
- Ensure HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations as well as company policies.
- Maintain accurate, compliant employee records and manage Workday data entry and updates.
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports as needed to support HR MBR planning and decision-making.
- Assist in implementing talent programs, including goal setting, feedback processes, and annual performance reviews for manager-level and below.
- Coordinate Quarterly Talent Discussions and proactively support managers in executing the 70/20/10 development program.
- Proactively review low performer data to create visibility into open development plans and influence employment decisions.
- Drive employee cultural initiatives, including company events, recognition programs, and wellness activities.
- Support learning and development programs to foster growth and a continuous learning environment.
- Contribute to Global Functions HR projects and initiatives, such as policy updates, culture programs, and change management efforts.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and Leadership to elevate processes and programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a related HR role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office; experience with Workday or similar platforms is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters discreetly.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and handle confidential information professionally.
- Passion for employee experience, engagement, and contributing to a mission-driven organization focused on clean energy solutions.
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
- Comfortable partnering with managers to drive accountability, timely HR actions, and process discipline.
