Job Description

Hybrid role in Coral Gables, FL with a Human Resources Business Partner position designed to be your first point of contact for HR. You will help deliver consistent HR support across the employment life cycle, from recruitment through employee engagement, benefits, leaves, and HR reporting.

This full-time role offers from $70,000 per year and includes hybrid work expectations in Coral Gables, FL (33134). The position is well-suited for someone with progressive HR experience who can balance day-to-day HR operations with guidance for department managers and staff.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the first line of HR contact and support employment life cycle functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, employee engagement, and ongoing HR administration.
  • Manage staffing activities: recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Keep job descriptions current and aligned with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Apply company HR policies consistently across teams and situations.
  • Maintain HR systems and processes to support reliable HR operations and reporting.
  • Provide support and guidance to department managers and staff.
  • Participate in preparation for the performance and salary review process.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 5 years of HR experience in a professional services or corporate environment, including an HR Generalist background.
  • Progressive HR experience, including HR Generalist level background, and a commitment to professional excellence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and trust.
  • Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with flexibility in changing priorities.
  • Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with good judgment for timely decisions.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles and best practices, including HR compliance related to I-9, FLSA, FMLA, and ADA.
  • Project management skills to manage priorities and workflows for strategic support.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS, preferably ADP Workforce Now or PEO systems.
  • Proficiency with Adobe and the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Vizio).
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish required.
  • Professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is included as an application question.

Tools and Compliance Areas

Experience with I-9, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and HR systems including HRIS, ADP Workforce Now, and PEO, plus Adobe and productivity tools such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Vizio.
