Job Description
Garmin International, Inc. offers a full-time Human Resources Coordinator role onsite at the U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area, based in Olathe, Kansas. The position supports HR coordination across multiple specialization areas, including recruiting, university relations, training, benefits, health and wellness, HR systems, and compensation. Responsibilities
- Support various administrative duties and tasks
- Assist with planning and execution of company events
- Apply Human Resources knowledge to daily work
- Adhere to company and departmental policies and guidelines
- Learn established processes and complete well defined tasks and projects
- Collaborate in a team environment to effectively utilize resources and assist colleagues
- Use constructive feedback to enhance performance of essential functions
- Provide excellent customer service to Garmin associates and customers
- Communicate status of work clearly, providing visibility
- Coordinate all aspects of interview scheduling and travel for candidates
- Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to convey information and interview details to candidates
- Assist with screening candidates, processing applications, and attaching candidate information in Garmin’s candidate tracking system
- Maintain and update job postings internally and externally as requested by recruiters
- Assist recruiters and recruitment managers with other recruitment tasks as needed
- Maintain appropriate quantities of recruitment materials and supplies
- Help conduct trainings as needed
- Reconcile expenses and expense tracking as needed
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency with Outlook for calendar management
- Proven experience handling confidential matters
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of EEO and OFCCP regulations
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Sense of urgency and commitment to deliver high-quality results on time
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service to Garmin associates and customers
