Job Description

Join TWFG Insurance as an onsite Human Resources Director in Spring, TX. This leadership role oversees recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance development to foster a positive workplace culture. Compensation

Pay: USD 130,000.00 - USD 160,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with department leaders to translate the HR and talent strategy into actions addressing current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning
  • Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and postings; work with managers to define required skills and competencies for openings
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, including postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring
  • Support benefits administration, coordinating new hire benefits orientations, answering questions, and coordinating open enrollment with the PEO
  • Lead new hire orientations and onboarding activities
  • Administer the employee life cycle from onboarding through offboarding, including offer letters, I-9 verification, background checks, drug screens, Insperity Premier enrollment, benefits orientation, and payroll data entry
  • Manage employee engagement and recognition programs such as years of service, birthday recognition, and activities committees
  • Coordinate FMLA and other leaves with employees, managers, and the PEO Leave Administration Team
  • Review and document workers' compensation claims
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics as needed
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
  • Support conflict resolution and promote a positive work environment
  • Provide guidance on general HR and payroll questions, administer routine tasks with discretion, support reasonable accommodations, and notify management of any allegations of wrongdoing
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and employee communications
  • Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee data
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, plus best practices, including appropriate employment posters
  • Assist in developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures
  • Support performance review cycles and employee development initiatives
  • Champion learning and development programs and track training completion and effectiveness
  • Coordinate training sessions and employee engagement activities

Requirements

  • Relevant HR administrative experience or an equivalent blend of education, training, and work history
  • Minimum of ten years of HR experience, ideally in a generalist role
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws
  • Proven experience with HR tasks including recruiting, resume review, candidate selection, and offers
  • Experience with onboarding and creating a positive candidate experience
  • Experience managing HR documentation, compliance filings, training records, exit interviews, and engagement activities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
