What you’ll do
The Human Resources Generalist supports business objectives and employee engagement across the employee lifecycle. The role is split evenly between 50% talent acquisition and 50% general HR operations.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt roles
- Partner with hiring managers to assess workforce needs and shape recruitment strategies
- Create and post job advertisements across recruitment platforms
- Source, screen, and evaluate candidates through interviews and assessments
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews, including scheduling and candidate communications
- Conduct reference checks and support pre-employment screening activities
- Prepare and extend employment offers and negotiate compensation within established guidelines
- Maintain talent pipelines and use proactive sourcing approaches
- Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and candidate experience
- Support employer branding efforts and represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and recruitment campaigns
- Partner with hiring managers to support a positive onboarding experience
- Advise employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters
- Assist with employee relations issues, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Support onboarding, orientation, and offboarding activities
- Administer HR programs including performance reviews, employee recognition, and engagement initiatives
- Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy and compliance
- Assist with benefits administration and respond to employee questions about benefit programs
- Support compensation activities, salary reviews, and market benchmarking initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Generate HR reports and analyze workforce data to inform decisions
- Participate in HR projects, continuous improvement initiatives, training and development programs, and organizational change efforts
- Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies, including the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy
- Adhere to product compliance obligations in line with the Product Compliance Policy, laws, regulations, and market demands
- Support compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System, including raising concerns to the appropriate channels or through the confidential whistleblower service
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience)
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant recruiting responsibility
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple job levels and functions
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations processes
- Experience with HRIS (UKG) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Strong recruiting and interviewing skills
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR technology platforms
- Data analysis and reporting capabilities
