Human Resources Manager

Platinum Commerce, LLC is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations for a fast-moving organization supporting 100+ employees and independent contractors. This on-site role in Beverly Hills, CA includes hands-on ownership across hiring, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance with applicable California and federal employment requirements.

You will help run critical HR processes end to end, partnering across functions to support contractor administration, payroll-related activities, and reporting for leaves, accommodations, and workers compensation.

Role focus

• Manage job postings from drafting through publication, maintain job boards, track applicants, and own onboarding for every new hire.
• Run onboarding end to end, including offer letters, new-hire paperwork, orientation, system access, and first-week setup.
• Administer the independent contractor lifecycle, working with Legal and Accounting on classification and payment.
• Handle employee relations by intake of concerns, conducting workplace investigations, and completing documented follow-up.
• Support payroll operations through timekeeping, pay changes, and commission documentation.
• Administer leaves of absence, accommodations, and workers compensation reporting.
• Stay current on California and federal employment requirements to keep company practices aligned.

What you bring

• 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 1 year handling employee relations independently.
• Experience supporting 100+ workers, including a contingent workforce.
• Working knowledge of California employment law.
• Proficiency with HRIS, applicant tracking, and payroll systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

• Work setting: On-site in Beverly Hills, CA, with frequent visits to the Van Nuys office
• Compensation: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour (based on experience)
