Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment and Placement)

The DoD Cyber Excepted Service HR Specialist develops CES employment and placement policies, advises on workforce planning and talent management, oversees compliance, conducts analyses, and represents the organization on workforce policy.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Cyber Excepted Service (CES) employment and placement policies and guidance.
• Provide guidance to senior leadership on workforce planning, staffing, and talent management initiatives.
• Monitor workforce program compliance and propose enhancements to policies and procedures.
• Perform workforce analyses and design strategic solutions to address staffing requirements.
• Represent the organization in workforce policy matters with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Male applicants born after 12-31-1959 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service guidance.
• A three year trial period may be required if no prior trial or probationary period in the excepted or competitive service.
• Direct deposit participation is required.
• Subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
• Recruitment under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service; does not confer eligibility for conversion to the Competitive Service.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI; Special Background Investigation (SBI) required with favorable adjudication.
• Occasional travel away from the duty station for official business on military or commercial aircraft may be required.

• Salary: USD 169,279 - 197,200 per year
