Job Description
Epia Neuro is seeking an onsite People Operations partner to support the people experience at our Alameda HQ. This full-time role sits within the People team and reports directly to the COO, with an emphasis on keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly, strengthening culture, and ensuring hiring and vendor coordination move forward without friction. You will work 5 days a week onsite at our beautiful waterfront office, with access to collaborative spaces and labs.
What you’ll do
You will be a key go-to for managers and employees, handling the operational side of HR while also supporting office and culture needs.
- Serve as a day-to-day resource for managers answering HR questions
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding for new hires and departing employees
- Assist with HR programs and special projects as needed
- Maintain HRIS accuracy and keep records organized
- Provide flexible support across the People team where help is needed
- Keep the office stocked and running smoothly
- Plan and run culture events including happy hours, onsites, and offsites
- Support internal communications related to culture and events
- Own day-to-day communication with suppliers and consultants
- Project manage the influx of requests to keep priorities moving
- Coordinate with legal on routine vendor matters
- Track vendor contracts and renewal timelines, flagging items with real legal or financial exposure
- Support employer brand by drafting and scheduling LinkedIn content with the Technical Recruiter
- Support onsite interview logistics (room setup and hosting candidates)
- Coordinate interviews across the hiring pipeline in partnership with the Technical Recruiter
- Support offer logistics, including offer letters and background checks
What you’ll bring
- 2-3 years of experience in HR, recruiting coordination, office administration, or a related support role
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Comfort with Outlook, Microsoft Suite, Notion, Claude, Ashby (or equivalent ATS) and HRIS, or ability to learn quickly
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and basic content scheduling
- Strong written communication and follow-through
