Job Description
The onsite Recruiter will support a fast-growing private duty nursing office in Morristown, Tennessee, handling full life-cycle recruitment for healthcare professionals and building strong connections with candidates.
Responsibilities
- Design strategic recruiting plans using creative and cost-efficient methods to attract qualified candidates.
- Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies and help establish best practice approaches, adjusting as needed.
- Manage the candidate relationship process to enhance the candidate experience, improve retention, and solicit referrals.
- Create engaging recruitment marketing materials, including job descriptions and live events, plus campaigns that drive candidate interest.
- Oversee recruitment advertising, including posting openings and leveraging Internet recruiting tools.
- Participate in recruiting activities such as job fairs, community events, and conventions.
- Deliver presentations to schools, including nursing and CNA training programs.
- Build and maintain networks to identify qualified passive candidates.
- Utilize multiple channels to develop and sustain a candidate database and pipeline for future needs.
- Recommend and conduct recruitment and retention activities such as open houses and employee recognition events.
- Coordinate the application process, including phone and Internet responses, scheduling, and interviews.
- Collaborate with hiring teams to conduct phone screens and arrange on-site interviews.
- Develop and provide weekly and monthly recruiting reports to Leadership.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of recruitment efforts, costs, and time-to-hire metrics.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with candidates via phone, email, and social media.
- Support maintaining spreadsheets with candidate and project tracking information.
- Continuously advance mastery of sourcing and recruitment tools and techniques.
- Grow a qualified candidate database through networking, referrals, cold calls, and Internet searches.
- Meet required metrics for contacting prospects and conducting candidate interviews.
- Conduct employment verifications, reference checks, and assist with coordinating background investigations when needed.
- Verify licensure and credentials for nurses and other healthcare providers.
- Coordinate the new hire orientation process.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company hiring standards throughout the process.
- Fulfill additional assignments as requested by the organization.
- May have access to personal health information as required to perform duties, with access governed by organizational policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of two years of full-cycle recruiting experience in an agency or corporate setting.
- One year of high-volume healthcare related recruitment experience involving RNs and CNAs is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong ability to assess professional qualifications, work experience, and personal characteristics.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, flexibility, and negotiation skills.
- Proven networking and creative sourcing capabilities.
- Ability to quickly build rapport and maintain trust-based relationships.
- Comfort working in a high-interruption environment while meeting multiple deadlines with attention to detail.
- Experience managing multiple high-volume hiring campaigns.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills and exceptional organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of hiring laws, policies, procedures, and guidelines.

- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Proficiency with PC applications including MS Office, MS Excel, Outlook, and Internet usage.
