Recruiter / Human Resources Generalist

Visu-Sewer is hiring a Recruiter / Human Resources Generalist in Pewaukee, WI to help build a strong, compliant people function while supporting hiring and day-to-day employee needs. This onsite role combines full-cycle recruiting with HR operations, including DOT compliance, leaves and benefits administration, and maintaining accurate HR records. You will also contribute to HR programs that support performance, training, and professional development.

What you’ll do

• Lead full-cycle recruiting, managing the process from sourcing and interviewing through onboarding
• Support DOT compliance, including driver qualification files and testing programs
• Administer leaves and benefits, including FMLA and state leaves, plus enrollment and ongoing employee support
• Partner on HR programs such as performance management, training, and professional development initiatives
• Serve as a trusted employee resource, providing coaching, conflict resolution, and support for investigations as needed
• Champion employee engagement by gathering feedback and helping implement culture and engagement initiatives
• Maintain accurate, compliant HR records aligned with employment laws and best practices

What you bring

• Benefits administration experience: 2 years (Required)
• External recruiting experience: 2 years (Required)

Preferred: PHR/SPHR certification.

Work setting and compensation

This position is in person in Pewaukee, WI. Salary range is USD 75,000 - 90,000 per year, depending on experience.
