Responsibilities

• Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, translating employer priorities into proactive outreach, candidate interviews, and referrals of qualified candidates to clients while advancing the hiring timeline.
• When needed, receive and enter job posting details from an employer into the system.
• Focus your efforts on recruiting, screening, and referring qualified candidates to current postings in WorkInTexas.com to drive the hiring process.
• Assist candidates in strengthening their WorkInTexas.com applications and resumes to improve suitability for openings.
• Leverage alternative sourcing channels and creative approaches to fill postings when traditional methods aren’t sufficient.
• Engage in external networking with business associations, educational institutions, and industry groups to broaden the candidate pool.
• Maintain proactive communication with employers to understand needs, fill open job postings, and gather feedback on service quality.
• Provide ongoing service to employers with active postings on WorkInTexas.com, ensuring consistent referral activity.
• Share employer feedback with career office staff to inform candidate development and adjust outreach strategies.
