Work onsite in Dallas, TX and build a rewarding recruiting career in a high-velocity, KPI-driven environment at AMN Healthcare, Inc. This role focuses on sales-style recruiting to source, close, and place physicians into temporary locum tenens assignments nationwide, with competitive hourly pay (USD 19–24/hr) plus commission or incentive potential and uncapped earning opportunities based on transparent performance metrics.

What you’ll do

You will manage full-cycle locums recruiting with a sales execution mindset. Working across multiple specialties, you will source, qualify, and close physicians to meet urgent and ongoing client coverage needs in a metrics-based agency environment.

Recruit, qualify, and close locum tenens physicians to support urgent and ongoing coverage across multiple specialties
Run outbound sourcing through placement, including activity-focused outreach and conversion work
Meet or exceed individual KPIs covering calls, submittals, interviews, and placements
Proactively source candidates using Boolean search, ATS/CRM tools, referrals, and outbound sales-style outreach
Sell locums opportunities by matching assignment details with physician availability, pay expectations, and lifestyle preferences
Build and maintain a strong physician pipeline to support repeat placements and long-term revenue generation
Coordinate with account managers and teams across credentialing, licensing, and travel to support fast, efficient placements
Track activity and conversion performance accurately in ATS/CRM systems
Handle objections related to schedule, location, compensation, and competing opportunities

KPIs and performance expectations

Daily and weekly activity targets, including calls, outreach, and submissions
Interview-to-placement conversion metrics
Assignment fill rate and physician redeployments
Ability to manage a full desk with multiple active physicians and assignments
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced production environment

What you bring

2+ years of agency recruiting or sales experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated success in quota-based or performance-driven roles
Closing skills with the ability to influence physician decision-making
Experience managing high-volume requisitions and competing priorities
Comfort with outbound calling and consultative selling
Working knowledge of locum tenens workflows, credentialing timelines, and compliance requirements
Strong communication, organization, and follow-through

Helpful experience

Prior locum tenens agency experience
Healthcare staffing, physician staffing, or adjacent B2B sales background
Familiarity with physician licensure, credentialing processes, and time-sensitive coverage needs

Compensation and additional details

Hourly pay: USD 19–24. Final pay rate depends on experience, training, education, and location.

Medical Staffing Recruiter role with EdgeStone Staffing in New Bedford, MA (onsite) or Taunton, MA.

Responsibilities

Plan and run end-to-end sourcing strategies to attract qualified medical professionals through social media recruitment, job boards, and networking events
Execute high-volume recruitment activities including resume screening, candidate interviews, and coordination of assessments
Lead full cycle recruiting from initial outreach through offer negotiation and onboarding, supporting a consistent candidate experience

Requirements

Strong talent management experience using HR systems such as Kronos, UltiPro, Paychex, or PeopleSoft
Proven communication skills for interviewing candidates and managing relationships across organizational levels
Knowledge of employment and labor law relevant to healthcare staffing and HR legal compliance standards
Experience with high-volume recruiting methods such as cold calling, lead generation, and research
Familiarity with recruiting technology including ATS platforms such as Lever and Taleo, plus talent management software
Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail during full cycle recruiting
Competence with social media marketing (recruitment) to strengthen employer branding and candidate engagement
Experience with employee orientation and onboarding activities, contracts management, employee evaluation and relations, training and development, and succession planning
