Job Description

Eden Senior Care invites applications for a stand-alone Human Resources Generalist to manage daily HR operations onsite at our Wisconsin Rapids facility. The role covers payroll processing, onboarding, recruitment support, employee relations, and policy compliance, with close collaboration with leadership and department heads to maintain efficient HR workflows in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Process biweekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
Maintain and update employee records in alignment with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Conduct interviews and support recruitment for CNAs, nurses, and other facility staff.
Assist onboarding activities and ensure all required new hire documentation is completed and properly filed.
Assist with accounts payable functions, including processing and tracking invoices.
Serve as a primary contact for day-to-day HR matters, employee questions, and workplace concerns.
Support employee relations efforts, including initial handling of concerns and contributing to internal investigations when needed.
Ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and healthcare employment regulations.
Collaborate with leadership and department heads to support staffing and operational needs.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of HR experience in a healthcare setting.
Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in managing day-to-day HR operations within the facility. This is a stand-alone HR position that works closely with leadership and department heads to support employees and ensure smooth HR processes.

Compensation Schedule

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

Source and attract healthcare professionals through ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed (sponsored postings), healthcare job boards, and professional networks.
Build pipelines for physicians, nurses, and allied health staff.
Partner with nursing schools, medical programs, workforce development groups, and healthcare associations.
Perform cold outreach and targeted engagement for hard-to-fill clinical roles.
Represent Housing Works at healthcare job fairs, conferences, and recruitment events.
Track weekly sourcing activity and pipeline health.
Review 30–40 healthcare resumes weekly with focus on licensure, credentials, and clinical experience.
Conduct at least 15 structured phone screens weekly to assess clinical competency, certifications, and culture fit.
Coordinate interviews with physicians, clinic leadership, and department heads.
Verify credentialing requirements early and maintain compliance with healthcare hiring regulations and internal policies.
Manage requisitions for clinic and healthcare roles through UKG.
Partner with HR and clinical leadership on offers and onboarding readiness.
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Maintain trackers for open clinical roles, candidate pipelines by specialty, resume flow, screenings, interviews, and hiring outcomes.
Prepare monthly recruiting reports highlighting activity, pipeline trends, and outcomes with accurate credentialing data.
Coordinate onboarding for clinical hires, ensuring licenses, certifications, immunizations, and other compliance requirements are met by start date.
Support orientation logistics and onboarding schedules for clinic staff and track 30/60/90-day milestones.
Identify process improvements and propose new sourcing strategies for clinical talent pipelines.
Stay informed on healthcare labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and licensing requirements to support workforce planning.
Contribute to broader People Operations initiatives and workforce planning efforts.

Requirements

3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years in healthcare recruiting strongly preferred
Proven experience hiring for clinical roles (RN, NP, MD, MA, etc.)
Strong understanding of healthcare credentials, licensing, and compliance requirements
Experience managing high-volume recruitment in fast-paced environments
Proficiency in Excel and applicant tracking systems
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams
