Agency Recruiting Specialist

Support Shelter’s agency recruiting efforts across the operating territory by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and recommending applicants.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and recommend applicants for agency positions across Shelter’s operating territory
• Complete other assigned duties at the request of the Recruiting Manager
• Use home office equipment and a company vehicle provided by the company, with travel expenses paid
• Support the hiring process by participating in final-candidate screening steps, including background and records checks

Requirements

• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and goal oriented
• Aptitude to learn company products, policies, and philosophy
• Frequent overnight travel; ability to travel 50% overnight or more
• Ability to develop contacts and learn the local area/community in person for assigned vacancies
• Capability to obtain P & C and Life & Health licensing
• Maintain current industry knowledge through industry courses (company paid)
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation

Location & Schedule Expectations

• Indianapolis, IN (onsite)
• Frequent overnight travel required

Compensation

• USD 63,273 per year
