Bilingual Community Recruiter

Topaz HR seeks a Bilingual Community Recruiter in Spring Valley, NY (hybrid) to connect with local Spanish-speaking job seekers, manage high-volume staffing, and assist with onboarding and work registrations.

Responsibilities

• Visit neighborhoods, retail corridors, community centers, and other local venues to engage prospective job seekers and introduce available opportunities.
• Establish welcoming rapport with individuals and provide clear information about current vacancies, application steps, and screening expectations.
• Gather basic contact details and assist interested candidates with the signup process, ensuring data accuracy and prompt follow-up.
• Record interactions and planned follow-ups in a simple tracking system to support timely outreach and candidate care.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Demonstrates a friendly, outgoing demeanor and ease in meeting new people in diverse community settings.
• Familiarity with Rockland County communities is preferred.
• Access to reliable transportation appropriate for local travel within the area.
• Experience in recruiting, sales, or community outreach roles.
• Ability to track recruitment data using Excel and related software.
