Job Description

Join Vista Property Management for a senior HR leadership role that centers growth, people, and operational excellence. This onsite position in Binghamton, NY supports a U.S. hotel portfolio and reports to the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. You will shape talent strategy, drive payroll and benefits programs, and partner with hotel leadership to deliver top-tier people operations. Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute HR strategies aligned with company growth.
  • Direct talent acquisition lifecycle including sourcing, onboarding, and retention programs.
  • Oversee training, leadership development, and ongoing performance management.
  • Support HR leaders at each hotel property with guidance and governance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Manage payroll operations and employee relations across portfolios.
  • Administer benefits programs, recognition initiatives, and wellness offerings.
  • Develop competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Oversee HR budgets and labor forecasting.
  • Address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues professionally.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 6–10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Multiple years of HR leadership experience.
  • Payroll administration experience.
  • Employee relations experience.
  • Labor forecasting experience.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

Preferred

  • Master's degree (MBA or related field).
  • SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar HR certification.
  • Hospitality or multi-property HR experience.
