Job Description

Join Landings Management, LLC in Newport, RI for a role that blends hands-on people operations with a technology-forward approach. This onsite position supports a growing multi-state organization, overseeing payroll, onboarding, leave administration, HR systems, reporting and analytics, employee communications, and special projects. You will help modernize processes, improve data accuracy, and elevate the employee experience from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding processes
  • Maintain employee records and ensure people systems data accuracy
  • Serve as a resource for employee HR questions and support
  • Assist in maintaining consistent people operations processes and internal communications
  • Process payroll accurately and timely
  • Review payroll data, deductions, and timekeeping information
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll-related questions
  • Coordinate leave tracking and employee support activities
  • Support benefits administration and employee updates
  • Prepare and maintain workforce reports and operational tracking
  • Support reporting and analytics related to turnover, headcount, and employee trends
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes through technology, automation, and AI tools
  • Assist with optimization of people systems, workflows, and operational processes
  • Support coordination of HR vendors, systems, and related administrative processes, including tracking and submission of invoices and documentation as needed
  • Support HR initiatives and special projects across the organization
  • Assist with employee communications and engagement initiatives
  • Help coordinate onboarding and employee recognition activities
  • Support recruiting coordination and job posting administration as needed
  • Contribute ideas that improve operational effectiveness and employee experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Approximately 3+ years of HR or related experience
  • Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience required
  • Experience working with HRIS payroll systems, ADP preferred
  • Comfortable leveraging technology, digital tools, and social media platforms to support communication, recruiting, and operational effectiveness
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
