Job Description

Join ASML’s Wilton, CT campus as a Human Resource Business Partner, serving as an integrator between employees, the business, and the HR organization. In this role, you will help shape business strategy and people needs, strengthen leadership capability, and support organizational change using HR data, analytics, and hands-on manager coaching.

What you’ll do

  • Challenge, advise, and act on business developments and people & organization related needs by partnering closely with business stakeholders.
  • Serve as a connector among employees, the business, and HR to ensure alignment on priorities and decisions.
  • Partner with internal recruiting and 3rd party recruitment teams to execute hiring plans.
  • Coach managers through employee development, including leadership succession planning and the creation of quality employee development action plans.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement actions with the management team, with focus on organizational climate and culture change.
  • Oversee complex employee relations matters, including fact gathering, analysis, recommendations, and tracking performance improvement progress.
  • Coach managers on conflict resolution and help address escalations.
  • Support managers and employees through the annual HR program cycle, including performance management, salary planning, employee development, and related programs.
  • Deliver high touch HR program support to supervisors and managers.
  • Drive organizational change topics with the management team, including workforce planning and organizational design and development.
  • Act as a trusted sparring partner for senior managers, including reflection on personal leadership.
  • Use HR data and analytics to inform people and organizational decision-making.
  • Act as an employee advocate by staying close to what is happening on the work floor.
  • Collaborate with the Talent development team to create and facilitate workshops on HR programs and professional development topics.
  • Gather HR statistics and metrics (headcount, turnover, talent movement, HR program execution) and provide analysis and recommendations.
  • Complete special projects as assigned to support HR and business initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

What you’ll bring

  • BA/BS in Human Resources or Organizational Behavior (or related degree) or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of applicable HR experience.
  • Experience in a global, international fast paced (tech) organization.
  • Proven ability to lead and deliver multiple projects and processes at the same time.
  • Strong independence and the ability to manage complexity, with a focus on leadership development.
  • Affinity with talent management, change management, and/or organizational design is appreciated.
  • Resourceful approach with strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving.
  • Team-oriented mindset with proven ability to work with cross functional and international teams.
  • Demonstrated people and team leadership skills, including ability to lead, motivate, and influence others to achieve results.
  • Ability to build strong networks and engage stakeholders, driving and influencing outcomes.
  • Ability to determine strategies, prioritize, set goals, and evaluate process and results.
  • Clear, concise, professional communication across all organizational levels.
  • Results-driven approach with ownership, accountability, urgency, and attention to detail.

Work environment and physical requirements

  • Routinely required to sit, walk, talk, hear, and use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel.
  • May be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
  • Occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required based on company needs.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Environment generally is moderate in temperature and noise level.
  • Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents.
  • Must be able to observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered during work.
