Join Eden Senior Care in Williamsport, PA as an onsite, standalone Human Resources Director. This role reports to the Facility Administrator and leads all HR functions, giving you the chance to shape recruitment, payroll, benefits, compliance, employee relations, and performance management. The position provides a competitive salary of USD 55,000 - 70,000 per yearly and the opportunity to partner with facility leadership to support staffing and workforce initiatives.
Position overview
The Human Resources Director serves as the facility’s HR leader, overseeing the full spectrum of human resources activities. This stand-alone role focuses on recruitment, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management, and acts as a trusted resource for both employees and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead all day-to-day Human Resources functions for the facility
- Manage recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes
- Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with payroll regulations
- Administer employee benefits, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and leave administration
- Support employee relations by providing guidance, coaching, and conflict resolution
- Conduct employee investigations and assist with performance management and disciplinary processes
- Maintain accurate personnel files and ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
- Monitor HR compliance and assist with personnel-related regulatory requirements, including employee education documentation
- Partner closely with department leaders to support staffing and workforce initiatives
- Maintain HR reports and metrics, including turnover and other workforce data
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and leadership
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of Human Resources leadership experience
- Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, long-term care, or assisted living
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, workers' compensation, unemployment, employee relations, and employment law
- Experience handling confidential employee information with professionalism and integrity
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with facility leadership
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
