Human Resource Generalist
Job Description
ID Logistics is seeking an on-site Human Resource Generalist in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania to support recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, employee relations, and HR administration within a fast-growing warehousing operation. This role partners with site leaders and the corporate HR team to ensure people programs align with business goals and support a safety-focused, performance-driven culture.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to drive recruitment efforts, including creating job postings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate orientations for new hires and new leaders joining the facility.
- Facilitate training initiatives and cross-training across the site.
- Assist in organizing events that boost morale and reinforce the company culture.
- Ensure leaders receive ongoing training on performance management activities, such as reviews, goal setting, and development planning.
- Partner with the corporate HR team to investigate and guide management on associate relations issues, both formally and informally.
- Prepare and respond to inquiries about policies, procedures, and programs.
- Identify applicable legal requirements and government reporting obligations, ensuring HR policies and reporting stay compliant.
- Collaborate with the Compensation team to conduct wage surveys and analyze pay data to inform a competitive compensation plan.
- Draft separation notices, handle related documentation, and conduct exit interviews to understand reasons for departures.
- Generate reports and propose practices to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
- Represent the organization in personnel-related hearings or investigations when necessary.
- Process temporary labor requests to meet facility needs.
- Coordinate associate events in partnership with the operations team.
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager and other site leaders and HR staff.
- Observe and help enforce all safety rules across the site.
- Travel to Jacksonville, FL is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED plus relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with solid facilitation and interpersonal abilities.
- Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion, supported by investigative, documentation, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with a track record of managing multiple priorities independently.
- Ability to influence without formal authority and build trust with leaders and employees.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule within a warehousing operation.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Travel to Jacksonville, FL is required.

Work Location
Elizabethtown, PA
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some weekends required.
Compensation
USD 65,000 to 75,000 annually.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience using ADP platforms, including ADP WFN and ADP RM.
