Human Resource Manager/Administrative Coordinator
Job Description
In-person HR Manager and Administrative Coordinator role based in Lake Havasu City, AZ, overseeing human resources, employee relations, recruiting, and administrative coordination across seven locations along the Colorado River Basin.
Responsibilities
- Travel regularly between all seven company locations across the Colorado River Basin to engage with staff and leadership, assess workplace needs, and coordinate HR initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations and HR support, delivering guidance on policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and performance matters.
- Lead full cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and onboarding for new hires across multiple sites.
- Create, post, and manage job advertisements on multiple hiring platforms, track candidate flow, and collaborate with managers to refine job descriptions and selection criteria.
- Administer disciplinary actions, document steps, and manage terminations in a professional and compliant manner, maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain comprehensive personnel files and ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and company employment requirements.
- Monitor and verify employee compliance with government regulations, required certifications, and internal policies, coordinating renewals and trainings as needed.
- Assist management with administrative coordination and operational support, including scheduling, reporting, and process improvements to boost efficiency.
- Foster a positive, team oriented culture across all locations by reinforcing company values, recognition, and collaboration.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, or administrative management, with preference for multi-location experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and manage sensitive conversations.
- Professional, dependable, and highly organized approach, capable of maintaining accuracy under pressure.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
- Comfort working in a fast moving, high demand environment and adapting to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency with computers, email, and online hiring platforms; familiarity with applicant tracking systems is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between company locations as required.
- Ability to pass a background check.
