Responsibilities
- Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing, including customers, suppliers, and associates.
- Translate the area’s business plan into actionable goals, manage staffing and scheduling, assign duties, coordinate workloads, and ensure required training is completed to meet facility goals.
- Oversee daily HR office functions such as benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, and payroll, while refining recruiting and staffing initiatives and addressing employment concerns for applicants, associates, and managers.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies by maintaining accuracy and confidentiality of HR documents, supporting HR systems and applications, and researching data for HR issues.
- Maintain quality and safety standards by training associates on logistics policies and procedures, monitoring adherence, and distributing and maintaining procedures and related documentation.
- Identify concerns from associates, customers, or suppliers and collaborate on corrective actions or recommendations to resolve them.
- Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and modeling company policies; participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation.
- Coordinate training programs including new hire orientation, CBT modules, web based training, and virtual classrooms for Distribution and Transportation staff; identify needs and monitor completion, deadlines, and compliance.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, support plans to meet business needs, set clear goals, track progress, and pursue continuous learning and improvement.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities by hiring, mentoring, recognizing contributions, and promoting a sense of belonging in the workplace.
- Ensure alignment with policies and ethics by implementing action plans, supporting the Open Door Policy, and guiding practical application in business processes.
- Build high performing teams and encourage collaboration, communication, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence others.

Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field with 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2 years of Walmart Logistics management experience.
- 2 years of supervisory experience, including 1 year managing human resources processes.
- 1 year of Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience.
- Associates must complete all job required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
