Human Resources Analyst
Job Description
King County's Prosecuting Attorney's Office is seeking a Human Resources Analyst to support daily HR operations in a hybrid Seattle setting. The role spans recruitment, onboarding, workforce development, and employee engagement, working closely with HR leadership and line managers to implement practical HR solutions across the PAO. This position contributes to a collaborative culture that prioritizes service to a diverse community and accountability in all HR activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage recruitment and selection processes in collaboration with HR leadership and hiring managers.
- Complete pre-onboarding tasks such as drafting offers and promotion letters using standard templates, coordinating background checks, bilingual proficiency testing, and assembling new hire packets for personnel files.
- Conduct new employee onboarding, including fingerprinting when required.
- Maintain recruitment records and documentation within NEOGOV and manage the HR position request and new hire dashboards.
- Uphold compliance with labor contracts, employment laws, and HR best practices throughout the office.
- Provide administrative support for HR-led or HR-procured training and professional development opportunities for staff.
- Develop training resources and manage registrations using NEOGOV, Canva, and Articulate.
- Assist with coordinating organization-wide learning initiatives and programs for the HR team.
- Field inquiries from PAO employees, including managing the PAO HR inbox and other communications channels.
- Compile and publish the PAO Employee News via GovDelivery.
- Create and update forms and standard operating procedures as needed.
- Provide general office support as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

King County Courthouse, 516 Third Avenue, Seattle. Travel to other locations as needed.
Work Schedule
40-hour work week, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eligible for King County’s benefits package.
Salary
Hourly pay range: Range 57, from $45.90 per hour (Step 1) to $58.18 per hour (Step 10).
